Medal Testing

Medal testing is a non-competitive forum for all dancers to be tested on their technical standards in Highland, National and Theory according to the Scottish Dance Teachers' Alliance syllabus.

The dancers in our province have the opportunity to take exams with the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance (SDTA) in November each year in their area of the province hosting the examinations.

Once dancers reach the age of 16, they are eligible to begin taking Professional exams, which will grant them membership in the SDTA and allow them to start instructing.

The SDTA medal testing syllabus includes the necessary information for medal testing.
